Mom and Dad left early this morning for their 18 month mission to Mexico City as international digital communication specialists.
They have had a busy couple of weeks packing, and unpacking, and then repacking. The upstairs bedroom was their designated mission head quarters, they had way too many things to go into only 6 bags...... Ha. 6 bags.
They said their goodbyes last night to the grand kids and ate their last "home" made dinner at Jen and Jason's. We were all crying. Lol.
This morning me and Jeff got up early around 6 and gave our final goodbyes. Dad had me boobin' like a baby cause he was boobin'!
They got to the airport around 9 and their flight was at 10:03. Lucky for them they are already having the time of their life and they aren't even out of the state yet! They ran into the "candy bomber" at the Tucson airport and I'm sure my dad was completely a fan girl for those short moments they spoke with him. I was so jealous.
Now they are nestled in the MTC and have their name tags too! They will be there for 5 days and at the Salt Lake head quarters for 4 days then off to Mexico they go!
