Life has been anything but a walk in the park these days. Between bills, work, counseling, planning, homework, bank accounts, more work, and just having a teething baby that doesn't let Mom set him down, for ANYTHING. It's hard to have quality time, let alone quiet time. Today was the first day in a few weeks that we both had off ( until Jeff got asked to come in.... womp wah) so we had big plans to make it a family day. Then our rent came out of our account. $10.43 cents in our account. I love adult life.
So off we went to the free museum, to find it closed. Then Jeff's work texted him asking if he would come in. So we headed straight to the park to have our picnic we packed and chase the ducks. Luckily for us the weather was BEAUTIFUL. It felt like a breath of fresh air to be out as a family in the trees with a cool breeze. Then off we went home for Jeff to get dressed for work and then we went to hang out at Jill's and enjoy the weather and play with the kids.
Hot dad alert!
