Happy 3 months Easton James

What a momentous day! Easton was given a beautiful yet simplistic blessing by his Daddio and was a total peach through the whole thing. He was such a good baby for ALL of church. Mom and Dad were here to help bless him and it made the day even more special. Easton was dressed in an outfit from Mexico City and a blanket from Israel, he was our well rounded cultural baby today.
Easton also hit his 3 month mark! He is AT LEAST 10 lbs 11.8 oz and I'm sure really tall. He is such a good baby. He has been sleeping through the night and if he does wake up, it's only once. If he isn't sleeping or eating he is kicking away and smiling for everyone and everything. We are so grateful for this healthy, strong, happy, baby!

The Blessing of Easton James Thompson

Those in the circle were: His Dad, Grandpa John Griffin, Papa Dave Thompson, Uncle Kasey Thompson, Bishop Ryan Metcalf and his counselors; William Hokenson and Rick Pitcher. 

Our Father in Heaven ...... we take this infant in our arms to give him a name and a blessing. The name with which he will be known throughout the records of the church is, Easton James Thompson. Easton at this time we ‘d like to give you a blessing from our Father in Heaven and from the Savior. That you will know their love for you, that is you grow and you age and progress that you will be able to feel that love and be able to see it in the world around you. That you will be able to apply it to your life, that when you see others who are struggling who are beaten down and are having a hard time that you will be able to have sympathy for them, that you will be able to show them the love of their Brother. We also bless you with the desire to gain a testimony of the Savior’s atonement, that you will feel of His kindness and of His mercy throughout your life and again, you will be able to use this to serve others. For that is why you are here, at this time, in the location with which you are born. That as you grow you may serve our Savior and spread his word. We bless you with health as you do this, with strength and with energy. With the desire to do good in school and to study your scriptures. And as you follow your savior you will be able to find a young lady that you can take to the temple and build a happy family and a happy home that you will lead them back to their Savior. and all these blessing we give unto to you so that you may  serve the savior and serve His children. We seal all these blessings and all other blessings your Father in Heaven may have for you at this time. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
