How did we come up with the name Kenai? No clue. Process of elimination? We couldn't think of anything else we liked. For his age he is a HUGE puppy. We googled big dog names, Alaskan dog names, american president's names. You name it, we probably googled it. It was a rough time lol. Finally we just figured this would stick. We haven't gotten the effort to change it yet and he responds.
He is so stinking smart. He sits, fetches, runs with you, listens ( most of the time), poops ALL OVER HIS CAGE in the middle of the night ---- we're working on it. He also gets SOOO excited when you get home, he knows how to stay off the carpets, when his toys roll on to them he freaks out lol. He gives you leg hugs, he LOVES his bear that came in a size WAY TOO SMALL ( guess I should have read the fine print). At night he picks a random time and then runs around as fast as he can in a specific route. Around the dining table a few times, around the shampooer that needs to be moved out, around the island, into the bathroom, around your feet, and then he does it again and again and again! It is hilarous.

He loves his ball and bear. Most nights he fights himself deciding which one he wants to play with. He has the hardest time deciding lol. Most of the time he tries to get both at once, unsuccessfully. He loves having his tummy rubbed. It's like when a whale flips a shark. He just goes limp, his face relaxes, and his little leg pats the floor. He loves it. He is such a joy in our house. Hopefully we can get a hang of this potty training thing so we can move on to fine tuning all of the fun things.
We love our Kenai!
He LOVES it!
He also helps with studying.
