Today after we went to counseling we headed to Cabela's to walk around a little and check it out. Easton was a little distracted with the fish, but once he locked on to one he loved it! We can't wait to take him to the aquarium.
Right before we walked out the door we found out that Jordan and Ashley made a break for it throughout the chaos of Hurricane Harvey. We were praying for them to be able to make it a few days ago but the water was too high for them to drive. This morning the water had receded a little so they ran for it. Luckily for them, if they would've waited 15 more minutes they wouldn't have made it out. They released the dam waters from Lake Conroe and mandated an evacuation of the area. They made it here in great time! We are so happy they are here and dry! I'm probably the worst and made them work to earn their keep but Jeff promised to get the trampoline up and I was not letting him out of it haha. It's going to be so fun to play on it every night with the cool weather starting to arrive!
